Meet our Creative Director – Tyler Gibson
Tyler dreamed of flying high in the media world – even as a kid.He was just 10 when he started his first venture: a monthly Christian bulletin called Tyler’s Bible Newsletter. He wrote, designed and distributed the periodical, which featured inspirational articles. And he’s been working toward his goals ever since.
A native of North Port, Florida, Tyler began interning for the local newspaper when he was 12. Just a few years later, he was freelancing. His passion for communications has grown from those early experiences.
Tyler has held marketing and communications roles with PGT Custom Windows + Doors, Charlotte Behavioral Health Care and the Charlotte County Family YMCA.
He’s also used his skills to uplift his community. Under Reflections Media, Tyler published North Port Athletic Rewind, a digital magazine that highlighted the accomplishments of North Port athletes. He’s mentored students from the Gene Matthews Boys & Girls Club and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Suncoast.
Tyler is currently enrolled at the University of Florida, where he’s working toward his master’s in mass communication. He’s specializing in digital strategy, with a graduate certificate in web design and online communication. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Florida Gulf Coast University, where his concentration was public relations.
